In one week in Kuwait City: KTS 2026 Conference on Sarcoidosis, IDL, and Antifibrotics

Dear colleagues and friends, there is now less than a week to go before my trip to Kuwait City for the prestigious Kuwait Thoracic Society (KTS) 2026 Conference. I am excited to be attending this important event and sharing the latest developments in the field of pulmonology.

My presentation will focus specifically on my main area of clinical and scientific interest, interstitial lung diseases (ILD). On Day 2, Saturday, January 31, I will have the pleasure of presenting on two occasions: in one session, we will explore the diagnostic challenges and management of pulmonary sarcoidosis. Next, we will discuss the topic Evolving Role for Antifibrotics: Expanding Beyond IPF (Boehringer Co.), with a focus on antifibrotic drugs in the treatment of diseases other than pulmonary fibrosis.

I am sure I will bring home to Italy new ideas that will stimulate the growth of medicine and sharing with my colleagues on a daily basis.
